Rockethound is a small, independent studio, and this website is built to respect your privacy by default. There's not much to say here — which is rather the point.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — and nothing more. It is off by default: when you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline, and no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google unless you choose Accept. Your choice is saved on your device, and you can change it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We don't use analytics for advertising, we don't sell it, and your IP address is anonymised.
Our fonts are self-hosted, so the page itself doesn't reach out to any font service. The only third party involved is Google Analytics, described above, and only after you accept. Apart from that, nothing on the page quietly calls out to anyone else, and no profile of you is built.
Like virtually every website, our hosting and security provider keeps standard server logs — things like your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use these logs to identify you and we don't sell or share them.
If you contact us at contact@rockethound.io, we'll see your email address and whatever you write, and we'll use it only to reply. We won't add you to a mailing list or pass your details to anyone else.
This policy covers the Rockethound website only. The EpiPaws app handles your data within the app itself — what you log stays yours. If you use EpiPaws, please refer to the information provided inside the app.
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the date at the top. Given how little we collect, we don't expect that to happen often.
Anything you're unsure about, just ask: contact@rockethound.io.
